Isle of Man TT 2026 Issues
Any Isle of Man TT fans here? Been following the event for years and this one has gone sideways fast.
Rider crashed into the crowd at Parliament Square early on, took out eight spectators along with himself. Some still in hospital, viewing area shut down for good.
Then came the death, another rider gone in qualifying. That's the kind of hit these roads always carry but it stacks up quick when sessions keep getting pulled.
Now whole chunks of racing called off over the weather on top of it all. No point running if the track is too slick but it leaves everyone hanging after the buildup.
I still love the TT for what it is, raw and real, but this year just does not sell the thing well at all.

It's heartbreaking to see such a historic event get overshadowed by tragedy. I hope the riders recover and the event organizers take this seriously. Too many accidents in a short span can tarnish the legacy of the TT. The weather issues are just the cherry on top of this tragic sundae.
